12,000ft to 5,000ft at 120mph in 6 seconds or so....
If that sounds a little scary, believe me – it is!
In September last year I leaped out of a small plane doing a tandem skydive at 10,000ft for Cancer Research and raised £1,000. The first thing I said as I landed on solid ground, was “NEVER AGAIN!”
However, there is another cause that needs our help and so, with a feeling of fear, looking very grey, and stomach churning already, I was convinced to do another Tandem Sky Dive, but this one is from 12,000 feet. Now those that were with me on the original one will know what I went through to get myself to do it. Someone who doesn’t like planes, not great with enclosed spaces, and not 100% comfortable at heights and loves to be in control – I couldn’t of picked a better event to really push the boundaries of my comfort zone.

We wish to raise £2,500 as this is the average cost of a call out. As the government do not fund this vital service, they need the support to keep getting to the scene of an incident quickly to make a big difference in someone’s life. We don’t know what lies in our future, but I know for sure that if I was involved with a life threatening incident I would like them to turn up to help me or loved one.
