Romantic Novelists in ‘Meet-the-Author’ event at

Blists Hill Victorian Town, Friday 11th July

 

The Romantic Novelists' Association (RNA) is showcasing a meet-the-author event at Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire, on Friday 11th July.  The event, ‘Love of the Past’, will run between 10am – 2pm and will be held in the Goods Shed located within the recreated Victorian town.

 

Visitors to Blists Hill will have the opportunity to meet authors of romantic fiction in a variety of genres from Historical, Sagas and Steampunk to Alternative History.  There will be stalls selling books, as well as book signings, readings, games, displays, costumes, fashion and more.

 

Among the authors taking part are Louise Allen, Jenny Barden, Jo Beverley, Annie Burrows, Christina  Courtenay, Nicola Cornick, Jacqueline Farrell, Jean Fullerton, Hazel Gaynor, Juliet Greenwood, Liz Harris, Kate Johnson, Gwen Kirkwood, Lizzie Lane, Freda Lightfoot, Ruth Long, Sarah Mallory, Carol McGrath, Alison Morton, Liesel  Schwarz and Anne Stenhouse.

 

Commenting on the event, RNA Chair Pia Fenton said; “It promises to be a fun event for everyone, with plenty of things on offer to interest anyone who likes books and history!”

 

Open 10am until 5pm, Blists Hill is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums.
