Following the sucess of Park Live 2010 Telford and Wrekin council is delighted that Park Live will be with us again in September 2011.
It will be a one day festival of Rock and Indie music which takes place in the Arena in Telford Town Park.
This event will showcase the areas thriving arts and culture scene. It will feature a brilliant line-up of up and coming talent along with the more established local bands and solo supporters.

Fight the Bear
An exciting four piece indie/ska band from South Shropshire who have been making waves across the UK. They have received national radio play (6 Music), television coverage (BBC1) and press (Q Magazine) as well as performing with bands such as Pendulum, Hoosiers and The Automatic. Fight The Bear performed at the first Park Live event in 2009 and we are delighted to welcome them back for a second appearance.
HvH are an unsigned six piece band which originally came together at New College in Telford. The band plays upbeat rocky music with catchy hooks and upbeat melodies that will make everyone want to dance along. In 2009 the band headlined a sold out two week tour in Brazil playing in a number of cities including Sao Paulo, Marilla and Minas Gerais and also appeared on national TV and radio stations. The band is planning a second tour later this year. In 2010 they supported acts such as Tinie Tempah, Minor, Madina Lake, Pendulum and We Are The Ocean.
An up and coming band from Telford who are going places, this three piece band have been gigging for the past twelve months on a national level and will be signing to a new label in coming weeks. Park Live will be their only gig in Telford this year as they are already booked up out of the county.
Broken Again features former members of Vert, Aecea and Flea Bitten. Having completed two UK tours during 2010, the band are now working hard on the follow up to their debut EP and are continuing to build on a dedicated fanbase across the country. Members of the band who are from Telford and Wolverhampton have previously played along side world renowned acts such as Skindred, I-DEF-I, Sworn To Oath, Blaze Bailey, Forever Never, The Blueprint and Malibu Stacey to name but a few. Last year over 6,000 music lovers of all ages came and enjoyed a fab day.
