Watch Pancake Flipping at Blists Hill Victorian Town

Saturday 5th – Tuesday 8th March

 

Watch the ladies of Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge as they take part in the annual pancake flipping contest held daily at 12 noon from Saturday 5th March until Shrove Tuesday on the 8th.

Everyone is encouraged to cheer on the participants who must all wear an apronand flip their pancakes as many times as possible in the one minute allocated.

The Victorian Policeman will be attendance to ensure fair play by all and the village School Teacher will be handing out certificates to the winners. 

After the contest visitors can also have a go at pancake flipping.

 

A Passport allowing entry into Blists Hill, plus the other nine Ironbridge Gorge Museums valid for 12 months and multiple return visits costs £21.95 per adult, £17.60 for the 60 plus, £14.25 for students and children, and £59.95 for a family of two adults and three children, under 5s free.
