We chose the ‘wear it pink’ campaign in order to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

The main fundraising day was Friday 26th October but all week the salon had been revamped with an influx of pink balloons, decorations, posters, flyers, special competitions and anything else pink they could find.

Our aim was to raise lots of money for the charity

The hair and beauty salon is headed by Lisa Westwick and Kim Westwood and has been trading for over 20 years.

Lisa said “We want our clients to not only look good but feel good from top to toe. The feel good factor can have more impact than any doctors medicine"

Salon Directors Kim and Lisa ensure that all of their stylists go on regular courses to top up their skills with the latest techniques and it shows in the excellent customer care testimonials they receive.

As specialists in not only hairdressing, colours, cuts and hair extensions but also a full range of beauty treatments from massages, waxes, spray tans, manicures, pedicures to name but a few, the KLF team can work with anyone going through cancer treatment to not only make them look better but feel better too.

‘Wear it pink’ is part of our focus on Pink Science – a pioneering approach to breast cancer research that funds projects with the greatest potential to save and improve lives, and ultimately find a cure. KLF hair and beauty are proud to be working with such a worthy cause.
