You've probably seen on the internet or heard from other people that we have had another name change....for the better! We are still owned and managed by Focus Hotels Management Ltd but on the 22nd February we franchised to Accor's Mercure brand. Across ten hotels of the 12 hotels, we are now Mercure branded and big changes are happening.
When Focus Hotels originally took over when we were in administration, all twelve hotels were in desperate need of repair and maintenance. Madeley Court Hotel alone had over £1million spent on refurbing bedrooms, maintaining the 16th Century building and general spruce up of public areas - Madeley Court was definitely on the up.
Within the Mercure branding, there are certain standards we have to adhere to...which means more improvements are in store for us - very exciting!
We've had a couple of new additions with Staff including a Cathy our Senior Head Housekeeper and Andrew our Deputy General Manager, everything is on the up with Madeley Court.
