The plans would involve further building work; including the extension of Meeting Point House with a new two-storey building. The plans for the additional room have been put together by Telford & Wrekin Council and will go before planning committee tomorrow.
The new building would then be turned into meeting rooms, a theatre, restaurants and cafes.
This follows last month’s announcement that TGI Fridays will be taking up one of the new units at the £200 million development’s new Southern Quarter complex.
Work is due to start on the new complex soon, with the restaurants set to open at the end of 2016.
