Tae kwon do champions provided proof that great food is the key to keeping you fighting fit.
The Swiss National Tae kwon do team took a real shine to La Rosa restaurant in Wellington, during their recent stay in the county to take part in the 9th Open World Tae Kwon Do Championships, which this year were held at the International Centre in Telford.
They were so fond of the fantastic authentic Italian food there, that they dined at the popular Church Street eaterie on three consecutive nights.
The team was extremely successful, and took home a haul of medals – gold, silver and bronze – for team and individual events, and told La Rosa proprietor, Rashid, that it was down to the food at his restaurant.
"It was a pleasure to play host to the team, and we were delighted to hear how well they had done," said Rashid.
“I can’t promise the food will make sporting heroes of everyone, but we certainly do our best to ensure every visit here is special, and hopefully, our customers leave feeling like champions!” he added.
