Fancy seeing how the Victorians celebrated Christmas? Then why not combine shopping with a great day out and head to Blists Hill Victorian Town in Telford.
On December 11, 12, 18 and 19th, the town will be geared up for a truly magical festive experience, all based on traditional Victorian celebrations.
The whole town will be covered with beautiful decorations, and the shops packed with a host of unique gifts, along with some seasonal treats and more traditional presents.
No matter what the weather’s doing, you can enjoy a flurry of snow as you enjoy the carol singers, or listen to the brass band, and naturally, there’s a chance to meet Santa.
A new attraction for this year is Mr Morton’s Christmas Party, where you can join the workers as they celebrate the season in the transformed Iron Rolling Mill.
You can enjoy some festive food at the party, for an additional charge, as well as join in the songs and stories, watch Punch and Judy, and have the chance to meet a real reindeer.
Entry on these special days, which run from 10am til 4pm, is £14.60 for adults,£11.55 for over-60s and £9.35 for children.

Tickets can be bought on the day at the entrance shop. To find out more, go to
