Disability friendly panto shows in Telford

There will be two unique and special performances of pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place later this month.

Audiences can see Bernie Clifton and the rest of the cast tell the story of this year’s pantomime in a way that definitely will not be forgotten.

Friday 30 December at 11am sees a ‘relaxed’ performance, specifically designed to welcome families and groups who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. Theatre lighting, special effects and sound levels will also be adjusted to reflect the audience’s needs. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult £17, child/concessions £15, family of four (min. 2 children) £58, rear tier £10, groups 10+ £12.50

And at 6.30pm on Friday 30 December, the show will be supported by a British Sign Language interpreter, enabling BSL users to experience a uniquely described theatre performance. Tickets: Adult £18, child/concession £16, family of four (min. 2 children) £62, rear tier £10, groups 10+ £13.50

All ticket purchases for shows at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place will be subject to a £2 non refundable administration fee per transaction.

Sleeping Beauty at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place, produced by Shone Productions, begins on Wednesday 7 December, with shows right up to Saturday 31 December.
