Students on the Technical Theatre course at New
College Telford are finishing off their preparations for
two ‘ghostly’ venues, which they will be transforming at
this years ‘Ghostly Gaslight’ event at Blists Hill
Victorian Town this Saturday.

Hollie Wright, course leader for Technical Theatre,
said, “This is an excellent opportunity for the students -
allowing them to work on a professional event to show
off their technical and design skills, as well as
engaging their interests.”

The event, which happens annually, will attract
thousands of people on the 26th
 October as the town is
transformed as dusk falls. The Old School House and
Estate Office, which are home to the friendly Victorians
by day, will be transmogrified by weird apparitions as the Technical Theatre students
transform the buildings to cast eerie shadows.

Tickets are only available in advance of the event from Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre,
Blists Hill Victorian Town Visitor Centre or any of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums.

You can also buy tickets by phone 01952 433 424.
