More cards and parcels are sent in the run up to Christmas than any other time of the year, but you'll need to make sure your cards or parcels are sent by the final posting date to be sure they arrive before Christmas Day.
The guys at Royal Mail have compiled this handy list of all the relevant last posting dates you need, so there's no excuse for missing the deadline!
They have even set up a useful reminder service so you don't miss the date - simply register for this service, tick the destinations that you are interested in and they’ll send you an email 3 days before and a text message the day before you need to post your items.

For UK mail the final posting dates are:
UK 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For - Weds 18th December.
UK 1st Class and Royal Mail Signed For - Friday 20th December
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed - Monday 23rd December.
