Bucks Launch new 'Goalzone' Five a Side Centre :
AFC Telford United are pleased to announce the launch of “Goalzone,” the new five-a-side facility which has been built immediately adjacent to the New Bucks Head.
The new “Goalzone” website is now live and the club will be accepting bookings on www.goalzonefootball.co.uk . The facility will be open for 46 hours per week for paying customers whilst there will also be 46 hours per week allocated to community use where local schools will be granted access free of charge.
Club chairman Lee Carter has spoken of his delight at the opening of the facility which has been delivered in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council. “This is a state-of-the-art floodlit facility, consisting of third generation synthetic pitches, which is for use by the whole of the local community.” Meanwhile, Carter also confirmed that the “Goalzone” centre will incorporate visits from AFC Telford United first-team players.
Prices for booking the facility start from £25 per hour for juniors and from £33 per hour for adults. Excellent discounts will also be available for Flex card holders and for block bookings. Taster sessions for members of the general public will also be announced in due course.
