Jenny Gunning's work next to the Masters

Castle Fine Art is one of the biggest Art publishing houses in the UK, they have an exhibition every 5 years selling the top pieces of work. This Year some of the names are Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Chagall, these are some of the greatest masters of their time. Along with this they wanted Jenny Gunning to do a demonstration on the day of something creative, so they contacted Jenny to ask her if she could do printmaking for them – and bring some of her wonderful pieces of work to hang in the exhibition as examples of printmaking.

JENNY AND THE GALLERY IN IRONBRIDGE

This is what Jenny had to say when we asked her about Ironbridge Fine art and Framing.......

"This is so wonderful for me I can not believe it!! I work so hard trying to be successful"

"I sell 20 local artists work in my gallery in Ironbridge, including my own work, my mothers pottery and my fathers work.

I provide a conservation and museum standard framing service. (Guild standard). I put on new exhibitions every month with a new exhibition of work from different artists and I give private tuition lessons teaching Fine Art Printmaking and drawing.

I still make valuable time for me to produce my own art work. I have several collections of work about Venice, New York, Vermont, London and Shropshire and I also have several private collectors who regularly purchase my work.

I have to say however that I could not do all this on my own, I have an Ironbridge art student Hannah Miller working weekends for me and Imola Kovendi who has a degree in film and TV directing, working very closely with me in the week.

I do printmaking workshops and framing consultations for The Hepsibah Gallery in Brackenburry in London every month and I frame for all of the galleries clients and owner as well as teaching the locals how to Etch and draw!

On top of this we have recently done framing for Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Museum and continue to frame to Museum standard for private collectors of art all around the UK"

I am hugely impressed with Jenny and the work she does in Ironbridge and throughout the UK.

Jenny is an Ironbridge treasure and we wish her great success at the exhibition and with the work she continues to do.
