Telford law firm Lanyon Bowdler’s next Credit Control Network event in June will be very relevant to any business selling goods or services at a distance, as partner and dispute resolution solicitor Brian Evans (shown below) will be talking about the Distance Selling Regulations.

Distance Selling Regulations may apply (in consumer contracts only) where an individual enters into a contract where there has not been face to face contact, and provide for certain information to be given - such as cancellation rights.

Brian’s presentation will include an opportunity to raise individual queries via an open question and answer session and will be followed by a light buffet and refreshments.

There will also be the chance to sound out solicitors from Lanyon Bowdler with regard to any other legal issues you may have "off the clock."

The seminar will be held on Thursday 14 June 2012 between 12.15pm and 2.00pm at Lanyon Bowdler’s Shrewsbury offices on Abbey Foregate. Places cost just £10.00 per person plus VAT. Bookings can be made via Rachel Donaghey on 01952 224047 or email rachel.donaghey@lblaw.co.uk.
