It is the biggest night of the year in the Weston-super-Mare calendar and people come from all over the country to see it. The two-hour long procession is the west country’s answer to the Rio Carnival. It features huge and extravagantly-decorated carts with thousands of bright lights on, putting on an exciting must-see FREE procession for thousands of spectators.
The route for the carnival parade will start as usual in Locking Road car park and proceed alongside Tesco heading towards the bus hub, turning right down Alfred Street. All the way down Alfred Street and left onto the Boulevard heading down into Waterloo Street past the Italian Gardens
