The Taunton Tinsel Trot is back for 2026. This year, we are making it a 5k festive Fun Run alongside our children’s 1k Junior Run, so there’s something for everyone to get involved in!
Set on a closed-road route through Taunton town centre, the Tinsel Trot is perfect for you – whether you’re an experienced runner, a fancy-dress fiend, or simply looking for a fun family activity to start the Christmas season.
Choose your distance:
5k Fun Run (ages 11+)
1k Junior Run for younger children (pushchairs welcome)
Included with your ticket is a FREE festive hat!
Santa hats for ages 11+ and elf hats for children aged 10 and under.
Christmas fancy dress is encouraged, so dig out your festive outfits and help fill Taunton with cheer!
