On The Shoulders is an outdoor aerial circus show, suitable for all ages, celebrating the power of women to inspire, support and lift us up.
Beautiful, surprising and unlike anything else you'll see this summer. Three multi-skilled performers blend aerial, circus, dance, puppetry, verbatim theatre and live music, performed in, on and around a spectacular giant female puppet.
On The Shoulders brings humour and beauty to the real stories of women living in the South West, exploring our collective strength and intergenerational connections.
Featuring members of Grace & Growl, a West Dorset contemporary dance company of mature adults, who'll be performing alongside the professional cast for this preview event.
A production by Pirates of the Carabina, the award-winning creators of Flown and Pirate Taxi. Supported by Arts Council England.

Make a day of it and relax in the orchards with a drink from the legendary Cider Bus before and after the show.
You can bring along a picnic or grab something yummy from the guest food truck.
The performance takes place outside and there is no shelter so dress for the weather and you might want to bring an umbrella for rain or to use as a sunshade.
Children aged 4 and under are free.
