A journey from coast to countryside with creative exercises in drawing and mark-making along the way. On this inspiring journey, as we walk in the footsteps of the Romantic Poets, you will explore historic mark-making processes using a variety of materials taken from our natural surroundings. Learn how to make your own paintbrushes from feathers, grind your own pigment, write with charcoal ink, and capture your creativity with raw, organic materials.
We will begin our journey in East Quantoxhead and take a circular walk through the coast at Kilve and return back through the Quantock Hills, stopping along the way to record our journey. This will be a social walk and part of the fulfilment will be in sharing our experiences as we look to locate the infinite imagination in us all!
