We are delighted to welcome back Tom Newall as leader for our Choral weekend. We had a very successful course working with him on Poulenc’s GLORIA in 2025.
Tom has chosen two much older works for 2026, and we look forward to his
interpretations.
Tom studied at Durham University and the Royal Northern College of Music. He is a freelance conductor and Musical Director of Salford and Congleton Choral Societies. He works at the University of Warwick and conducts orchestras and opera in International
venues, including Buxton International Festival and Teatru Manoel, Malta.
Tom’s first appearance in Dunster last year was very well received by all the singers, and we look forward to working with him again in May 2026.
