When i reached the age of 38 iʼd given up the hope of ever learning to drive. Iʼd had two attempts earlier in life but never felt in control so i gave up. Then someone brought me a block of lessons as a gift. It took me six months to pluck up the courage to contact the driving school as i was so nervous about it. I remember my first lesson well. I was so nervous and scared but Andy was wonderful and put me at ease after about 30 minutes. He even made me laugh with some really terrible jokes. Over the next few weeks i was still really nervous but slowly, slowly i beagn to actually DRIVE!!! Andy was kind and patient and really listened to my concerns. He never made me feel stupid and always kept a calm level head even when i did something mega stupid (and that was quite often in the early days). Iʼm not a natural driver and found lots of the manoeuvres hard but Andy had loads of different ways to show or explain things to me and nothing was ever to much trouble. He encouraged me all the way and in January this year i passed my test (first time). I donʼt think i could of done this without Andy and i will always be grateful to him for his understanding and patience. Thanks Andy your a star x
