Swansea city council have come up with a novel way to highlight the dog mess problems in some parts of the city.
The Council workers who are tasked with keeping the streets clean will be out spraying dog mess with lurid paint.
They will be concentrating their efforts in the Townhill area where after spraying the offending mess they will then return the following day to clear it away.
The proposal is to demonstrate to people how bad the problem has become.
If it makes people think about clearing up after their pooch then it will be a worthwhle (though strange) initiative.
