Swansea City ambassador Lee Trundle officially opened Birchgrove Comprehensive School’s new outdoor learning area for children with special needs following a makeover by the Edenstone Foundation.
On Friday 9 September Culture Crawl Swansea will take you on an 8 mile adventure around the city. As you wind your way through the streets, you’ll uncover a route steeped in history, art, and culture, whilst gaining exclusive access to amazing buildings. Date: Friday 9 September Start time: TBC Distance: 8 miles
The Spectators Guide Since having surgery a few years ago for a sporting injury I have not been able to participate in many high impact events such as the Swansea Half Marathon as I had hoped. That does not mean I miss out, there are events I take part in and others I happily attend as a spectator. Darren Smith's personal tribute to Great Ormond Street Hospital is a Pirate GOSH Tattoo. The Hospital continues to treat Jordan, Darren's 7 year old son for a rare congenital abnormality and the tattoo is a way to raise money and thank GOSH for their help.
