There have been calls for a lifeguard on Three Cliffs beach after a summer tragedy.
A 54 year old woman got into difficulties and drowned while spending a day at a noted Gower beautyspot.
The National Trust which owns the beach has said that they will look at the recommendations following the Swansea inquest.
Whilst the coroner did not state that the outcome would have been different if there had been a lifeguard it is now a subject for consideration.
The RNLI are responsible for the provision of lifeguards and have said they will look at proposals if they are approached by the beach owners.
