As a by product of the effort by Swansea city council to encourage wildlife and wild flower growth concerns have been raised about road safety.
The verges on roads around Swansea and Gower have grown luxuriously in the recent great weather and this has been fab for wildlife.
However there is a concern that as the grass grows tall it will be a hazard for road users.
Car drivers may not see oncoming traffic in time and also overgrown verges may hide ditches and holes in the road.
The council have promised to keep thing under review and if there are concerns will act.
At this time of the year it's nice to see the plant life looking natural and healthy.
