The old Swansea Vetch Field has turned from a field of dreams to a field of vegetables.
The old home of Swansea football club in the Sandfields area of the city is continuing to evolve.
Whilst the longer term plan is for a community development including residential and retail in the meantime a large part of the ground has been given over to gardening.
There is a local consultation process involving city residents that is looking at the best mix of facilities that the old ground can be put to.
Over the years of course in addition to hosting football matches at th every highest level the ground has also been the venue for concerts including a memorable visit by rock giants The Who.
