The Grand Hotel is the latest business to affirm it's confidence in Swansea High Street regeneration plans.
The hotel which is a landmark building in Swansea is to implement major expansion plans which will add an additional 30 bedrooms.
The business is expanding into adjoining properties and will also be able to provide for functions of up to 300 people.
The new investment will result in work for an additional 20 people.
The construction is anticipated to be complete by Spring 2015.
This is great news for Swansea as the hotel is the first building that visitors to Swansea by train see.
