The WRVS shop in Morriston hospital is attracting widespread support following the threat of closure.
A petition has attracted 10000 signatures protesting at plans to close the shop and invite a large chain to operate the shop and coffee cafe instead.
The WRVS have been running the facility within the hospital for over 40 years using a mixture of paid and volunteer staff.
Over the years these workers have been there to provide support for patients and relatives at worrying times as well as the usual shop facilities.
Hope that the hospital authorities do make the right decision for all concerned.
