The overwhelming response from the public to the Swansea Lagoon project is very positive.
The reaction has been the same from tourism bodies in both Swansea and Mumbles who see this as a huge draw for tourists to the area.
The University has expressed some reservations and are looking for answers regarding the possibility of environmental impact and the risk of flooding.
This is understandale with the construction underway of thier new beachside campus on Fabian Way.
Hopefully all reservations will be resolved and the project does get the chance to move forward as it will be the unique draw that Swansea needs.
