The RSPCA swung into action to rescue a sheep from a cliff edge predicament at a Swansea beach.
The sheep had managed to get stuck on a cliff after scrambling over rocks at Rhossili.
it was spotted and a team of rescuers were mobilised.
The rescue involved men abseiling down the cliff side then grabbing the weakened animal before being hauled to safety.
The sheep apart from a little weak from lack of grub was none the worse for the ordeal and trotted away to join the rest of the flock.
