Swansea Care and Repair scheme to help the elderly maintain independent living.
A scheme has been implemented to identify improvements that the elderly people of Swansea need for their properties.
The idea is to make life a little easier for residents by fitting safety equipment such as hand rails and lock boxes.
They have also identified the need for security lighting and improvements to locks as well as ramps for easier access.
Swansea Care and Repair is a charitable organisation that works in conjunction with Swansea City Council.
