Okay perhaps not Swansea but certainly the DVLA in Swansea have announced that they will slash the cost of a driving license by over 30%.
In this day and age we always expect the cost of things to go up and not down especially where the Government is involved.
It's always a surprise therefore when the opposite is announced but that's exactly what is happening.
The DVLA has made efficiency savings and with so many of us making on line appications that they can afford to reduce costs for hard pressed motorists.
Provisional licenses will fall by £16 to £34 and renewals will drop to £14 from £20.
