The annual Swansea Dylan Thomas Literary prize long list has been announced.
The prize is awarded by Swansea University each year in the poet's name.
This year is particularly significant as of course the winner will be awarded the honour (and a useful cheque of £30000!) in this Dylan Thomas centenary year.
There are 14 books on the longlist which will be whittled down by the judges to a shortlist by September.
Then the winner will be announced at a gala dinner in November.
