Swansea is to host a conference on cat neutering at RSPCA centre Llys Nini.
There are just too many unwanted cats being born and there are nowhere near enough homes for them.
This sad state of affairs has resulted in a renewed effort to sterilise cats and prevent unwanted kittens.
The conference will be addressed by experts in veterinary surgery and animal welfare as to the best way to tackle the problem.
One announcement that will help the less well off is the introduction of a scheme to help those on low incomes to get their cats neutered.
