They have introduced MRI scanning to orthopaedics to simplify and shorten surgery.
This has meant less time in the operating theatre and the hospital bed recuperating.
They are releasing patients earlier and this is having a positive effect on general wellbeing and lessening the risk of infection.
The new procedures have been acknowledged as cutting edge (no pun intended)!!
