Plans are advanced in Swansea for a sea of red poppies to bloom by August.
The City Council have distributed 35kg of poppy seeds to associations, clubs, socieities and other local groups.
The idea is that they will plant the seeds in readiness for them to be in full bloom by the 4th August.
The City is preparing to show it's support for commemorations of the start of the First World War.
The Council has planted up the gardens and flowerbeds around the Cenotaph and Civic Buildings.
This will be a magnificent display remembering the fallen of the City.
