The inaugural Swansea beach soccer festival was declared a great success.
The event was organised to coincide with the World Cuo finale last Sunday.
The day was a big hit with competitors and spectators alike.
There were over 200 competitors taking part.
These included teams of youngsters,veterans and those with disability.
In addition there were over 1000 spectators who enjoyed the spectatcle and other entertainment including music and live performances.
It seems that there is alot of interest in making the event an annual one with a lot of teams wanting to register their interest for next year.
This is just the sort of thing that Swansea needs to keep attracting visitors into the city.
