Access to Rhossili beach - destroyed in the recent storms - has been repaired!
The steps leading down to the award winning Gower beauty spot were swept away in the severe weather we had this year.
This left only very orecarious access to the beach with locals fearful of the likely impact on summer trade.
Swansea City Council have ridden to the rescue repairing the steps and in fact improving the access for disabled visitors.
The work is scheduled to be completed within the next few weeks just in time for the influx of summer tourists.
