A recent pleasure trip turned frightening for aircraft's passengers when their plane developed an engine fault over Swansea.
The plane had to make an emergency landing on the beach at Jersey Marine in front of the new University buildings.
With smoke pouring from the engine the pilot demonstrated great skill in landing the plane safely on the sands.
Everyone got out safely and the plane which had suffered an engine leak was also okay.
Good news all round!
