Swansea City Council have revealed where they are to make the cuts to deliver savings in the budget.

They have announced a programme that will deliver the £26million of cuts necesssary in the coming year.

In addition the Council have announced that they are to increase Council Tax by an ahead of inflation 5%.

The services that will suffer include marina charges which will increase.

The closure of some public conveniences and others which will become cost neutral - presumably bringing back the old adage of spending a penny.Though this will be more likely spending 20p+!

On a more serious note there will be management rationalisation in the City centre including the market as well as a review of support given to the Grand Theatre and Plantasia.

Worrying times!
