Swansea City council have designated all their play areas smokefree.
All seventy seven outdoor children's play areas have had signs erected asking adults to observe a non smoking policy.
Whilst the areas are outdoors and consequently any request is not mandatory they are hoping that all parents will observe the rule.
Second hand smoke is unpleasant and no one needs to light up in a children's play area.
Sounds like good advice to me.
