The bus service that runs on Gower on Sunday has made it's last trip
The service is another victim of the cuts and savings that have to be made to balance the books.
The bus service was always going to be viable only with a subsidy.
This in the latest year was in excess of £22000.
A lot of people used the service and it could be argued that it also attracted tourists to Gower but it seems that it was a luxury that could not be justified in these difficult times.
The position will be reviewed and may be reintroduced if alternatives way to finance the operation come forward.
A real shame.
