Swansea city council have unveiled plans for a green sanctuary on the old Vetch pitch.
The former home of the Swans will be transformed into a peaceful community garden with an orchard.
The intention is to develop a community housing facility alongside with a view to developing and shaping the Sandfields area of the city for generations to come.
Sounds like a fitting legacy for such an iconic part of the City.
