Swansea City Council have received a grant for refurbishment work on key inner city communities.
A successful appplication for a grant will result in continued work on making the City centre a nicer place to live and to spend recreation time in.
The fund is designed to bring vibrancy back to city centres.
It is to be used to support bringing old buildings back to life and especially getting living accomodation that has been neglected for too long back into use.
With the work that is being undertaken in the city's High Street this is really to be welcomed.
