An application to build houses on land adjacent to Morriston Comprehensive School has met with a flurry of objections.
A local Housing Association would like to build 16 homes on land that impacts on the school playing fields.
This is a trend which is worrying a lot of residents.
The increased traffic near a school is an obvious safety issue.
Some locals are also concerned that the development may lead to localised flooding in times of heavy rainfall.
Swansea city council will look at the proposals in greater depth this week.
