Repairs have been carried out on graves and memorials to the Mumbles lifeboat crew that lost their lives.

The crew members lost their lives in what has been described as the worst Welsh maritime disaster.

A ship got into difficulties near Porthcawl during a severe storm in 1947.

Ultimately the crew of thirty nine and all eight members of the Edward Prince of Wales lifeboat were lost.

Mike Isaac of George J Isaac Stonemasons took it upon himself to refurbish the gravestones in the Oystermouth Cemetary free of charge.

He felt that it was his duty to carry out the work.

This is a fantastic gesture - really well done.
