The playground bell has seemingly rung for the last time for the pupils of Craig y Nos School.
The famous old independent school has closed it's doors blaming falling pupil numbers for it's demise.
The school which charged £5000 per year to it's day pupils has seen numbers drop to 50 and this is unsustainable.
The staff of 19 will face redundancy as liquidators try to sell the premises at Clyne Common.
