In this Dylan Thomas centenary year Swansea's famous literary son is having his works translated into Mandarin.

A Chinese literary professor based in Utah in the USA is behind a project to translate the poet's work into Chinese.

Professor Wu who has visited Swansea on a few occasions is very enthusiastic about the project.

Apparently Dylan Thomas's works are the second most translated poetry after T S Eliot.

The City Council are very hopeful that the work will result in an even greater appreciation of Thomas's work and in turn will lead to an influx of visitors from China.
