To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who there are a whole series of events taking place.
On television and radio there are programmes reviews concerts and reruns all leading up to a special episode screened on Saturday.
In the meantime the Tardis - the Doctor's transport of choice ( a 1950's policebox - pre mobile phone of course) has been doing the rounds.
This week it has been travelling around Wales turning up in some very curious places.
Today was the turn of Swansea - did you see it ?
There is of course the fantastic Dr Who exhibition housed in a purpose made building in Cardiff Bay ( well worth a visit).
Great example of our cultural heritage!
