Swansea and the bay area experience an earthquake yesterday.
Plenty of people reported feeling earth tremors early on Thursday afternoon.
The disturbance registered as 4.1 on the Richter scale.
Apparently these minor quakes whilst relatively uncommon do occur in the area.
Though the last one of consequence was in 1906 one previous to that in 1832 actually saw property damage with chimney stacks falling into the streets.
However the tremor felt yesterday caused little more than mild excitement for the people of Swansea.
